Adding steps and questions

A form is made up of steps. Each step is one question — a single input, a choice list, or a two-field combo. You add and configure steps from the Build tab in the builder's left panel.

Add a step

  1. Open the form in the builder.

  2. Switch to the Build tab in the left panel.

  3. Click Add Step at the bottom of the step list. A new Text step appears with the default question 'New Question'.

  4. Click the step to select it. The right panel switches to that step's settings.

  5. Use the Type tab in the right panel to change the step type (Radio, Icon, Text, Multi-Select, Textarea, or 2-in-1).

  6. Use the Content tab to set the question text, helper text, answer options, and validation.

Edit a step's question

Select a step from the Build tab. In the right panel, go to the Content tab and expand Basic Info. Edit the Question field — this is what the visitor reads. The Helper Text field below it adds a smaller line of context beneath the question, useful for clarifying what you're asking.

Duplicate and delete

Hover over a step in the Build tab to reveal the delete button (trash icon) on the right. To duplicate a step, there is currently no one-click duplicate — recreate manually if needed. Deleting a step is permanent and removes all associated conditions.
