Domain verification

After adding a domain and configuring DNS, the platform checks whether the records are pointing correctly before activating the custom URL. You can watch status in Connect → Deploy and trigger a manual check at any time.

The Pending state

As soon as a domain is saved, a Pending badge appears next to the domain name (clock icon, muted style). The DNS Configuration table is visible. A Refresh button sits beside the badge — clicking it triggers an immediate verification check. While the check runs, the button shows 'Refreshing..' and is disabled.

The Verified state

When verification passes, the badge changes to Verified (check icon, active style). The DNS Configuration table disappears. The Refresh button is replaced by an external link button that opens the live custom domain in a new tab. Your form is now reachable at the custom URL.

How long it takes

DNS propagation typically completes in 5 to 30 minutes for most registrars, though Connect → Deploy notes it can take up to 48 hours. Verification is also checked automatically each time Connect → Deploy loads, so you do not need to stay on the page — come back later and the status will have updated if propagation has finished.

If it stays Pending

If the badge is still Pending after 30 minutes, check that both records (the A record and the TXT verification record) were added correctly. A common mistake is adding only the A record and missing the TXT. See the Troubleshooting DNS article for a full checklist.
